Incy Wincy Sept 26th #113 Fancy Folds

This week we want you to go fancy!!  Fancy Folds, that is!!  I made a swing card this time.  You can get all the instructions for my card on Splitcoast Stampers.  I just started making this type of card and really like it.  I think it's only the second one I've ever made, so not too bad.  Our wonderful sponsor this week is Karen's Doodles and I chose the "Fall Wheel" digi, cutting it out with the "Small Labels" die.  Trying to get that cool fall air down here in the TX heat.  It's still in the 90's down here, so I'll try anything!!  ha ha...

The papers are from the stash (yes!! again)...The words came from "Flair", pearls are Prima, brads are Creative Charms, and the metal flowers and butterfly are stash.

Winner gets your choice of 3 digi's

Kelley's Kids Sept 21st Challenge #8 Big Boys

 21 Sept 11
Challenge #8
Big Boys

This week is all about the boys.  To tell you the truth, I really had a hard time with this one, and am glad it's over with!!  These are the hardest cards for me to make.  You can't really embellish them too much and get limited on the colors.  Oh well, I survived...

I used the digi called "Oliver Painting".  You can find him and the rest of Bonna's wonderful digi's only at Stitchy Bear Stamps.  I used scraps of papers from Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricut.  The buttons and ribbon are also from my stash.
**The Stitchy site is still having trouble.  You can find Kelley's Kids digi's HERE.

The winner(s) will receive:
1st place 3 images of choice
2nd place 2 images of choice
3rd place one image of choice
If you use one of Kelley Kid’s images you will get one extra image of your choice.  So play with us with Kelley Kid’s.
Winners must contact us within 7 days of being selected to claim their prize

Karen's Doodles Check It Out Sept 12th

I used my new digi that I won from a couple of challenges ago at Karens Doodles.  I used the "Turkey Trot" digi with checked and striped papers I found online at Shabby Princess.  (Sorry Heather...).   They have the great fall colors.  The tag  is from one of Heather's set that I tried to play with the colors to match my card using Gimp and added the line to.  The turkey reminded of the cows on the Chick Filet commercial.  I followed the sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp Challenge

Karen's Doodles Anything Goes w/a Twist Sept 9th

9 Sept 11
Karen's Doodles Challenge
Anything goes with a twist

I've had some of Karen's Doodles digi's from other challenges, so I finally decided to make a card and enter it into one of their challenges.  I used the "Winter Angel" digi, that I colored with my Copics and highlighted some areas with stickles.  The papers are from KOI Memories and scrap stash and the ribbon is also from my stash.  The embellies don't have names on them.  I hate using the snow flake embellie because it's so pretty.  This will sound bad, so don't hold it against me!!  I've even taken them off other cards that I've made so that I can use them over and over!!  Shhh...don't tell!!  he he...
Here's the inside..

July 25th #104 Make a Shaker Card

25 July 11
Challenge #104
Make a Shaker Card

This has to be one of the worst challenges I've ever attempted!!  I've never made a shaker card before and doubt I ever will again.

There, now that I've got that out of my system I can go on with the challenge and deets of my card...

I think a few of us went with this digi, because it's a good one for a shaker card.  Snow is probably the easiest to make it look it.  I kept it plain, so the digi and snow don't get lost in all the embellies.  The flower is from my stash and the snowflake is from I don't know who.  The tag is missing-must've thrown it away...
This totally adorable image is from Karen's Doodles. They are our sponsor this week and 1 lucky winner will get your choice of 3 digi's.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Pollycraft Challenge #103 Ho Ho Ho-Christmas in July
Christmas Inspirations #29 Christmas Project
Crazy 4 Challenges #97 Shaker Card

Karen's Doodles Challenge "Perfect Purples"

28 June 11
Perfect Purples

For the challenge on Karen's Challenge this week, they want you to use lots of purples and I think my card pretty much covers that.  I also used the "Butterfly & Bee" digi from Karen's Doodles.  For some reason every time I went to print it, marks came up, so I had to cut it up.  I printed it and colored it twice, so I could layer the flowers and bee.  For the butterfly, I just glued down the center so I could fold up his wings.  I followed the sketch from The Sweetest Thing challenge (I hope).  I added stickles to the flowers and bee and used at you Spica glimmer pens on the butterflys' wings.  You can never tell when I use those, though by the picture.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes #75 Pick 2 -purple, gems, wings, or paper piercing (purple & wings)
Simply Create Challenges #46 Come Fly With Us (wings)
The Poodles Parlour Come Fly With Me (wings)

Incy Wincy #92 Wedding-Engagement

2 May 11 #92 Wedding-Engagement

This weeks sponsor is Karen's Doodles.  The lucky winner gets you choice of 3 digi's.

We had our choice of two digi's to work with.  One being a cutesy dog couple (which you will see what our wonderful DT came up using this) and this being the other.  Now normally, I would've gone cutesy, since that's what I'm more comfortable with, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone, instead.  And wow!  Did I surprise myself.  I think it came out really good.
Recipe-digi-Karen's Doodles, paper-Glitz "Vintage" (solid dark paper),  Floppy Latte Designs "Vintage" (bg paper-which I got from Stitchy Bear Stamps) and scraps, flowers and pearls-Prima "e." Flowers are sprayed with glimmer mist in "Coffee Shop" & " Graphite", and stickles in "Diamond" (on her dress, earrings, neck less, and hair piece).

We would like to welcome Nikki, known to the card land as darling ho, as a GDT member this month.  Make sure you say hi.
I'm entering this card into the following challenge:
 Simon Says-Anything Goes
Delightful Cahllenge-Distressing
