Incy Wincy #88 Make a Pocket Card

4th April 11
Make a Pocket Card

This weeks challenge is all about making a pocket card.  I made a Diagonal Double Pocket Card.  You can find the instructions on Splitcoast Stampers here.  It's actually quit simple.  I left the tags and inside blank, so whomever gets the card, can write whatever they want on it.

This weeks sponsor is Stampin Dragon Designs and prize is your choice of four digi's.

Recipe: paper-Crate Paper's "Blue Hill" Collection, digi-"Yoo Hoo Teas" & Delicious Doodles "Driftwood Frame" by Delicious Doodles, and tags-Labels Four.

One Stitch At A Time Challenge

Challenge #53-Glitter & Gems
 13 March 11

Ever since Stitchy Bear Stamps sponsored Incy Wincy, I have been totally addicted to the digi's and papers. I use them constantly on alot of different challenges.  I hate to admit is though, this is the first time that I used them in this challenge.
I am getting lazy. I wait till the end of the week and then combine the challenges I want to do into one card because I'm getting backed up on cards that I haven't sold.  So that's what I did with this challenge.

Challenges:
Totally Stampalicious -use stamp w/beverage
Simon Says-birthday
Delightful Challenge-use green
Catch The Bug Challenge-Use Scallops

Recipe: papers-Crate Papers "Blue Hill" & Basic Grey "Wisteria", digi-Stitchy Stamps "Sudz",  die-scallop oval, rhinestones-"Creative Charms", flowers-K & Co and Prima "Sprites", green & diamond stickles, and the quote came from Bazzle.com.

I think I'm gonna put this one aside for my husbands birthday next month.  He'll be 54 (I think)..haha

Here's the inside...

Incy Wincy #82 Punches or Dies

21 Feb 11
Punches or Dies

This week's challenge is to use punches or dies (i.e. Nestabilities, Die-namics, Cricut, Cuttlebug, etc.) in your creation.

We also got to play with some very cute images from Peggy Loves Vintage

The back ground paper was printed out on my computer from Robyns Fetish  from a previous challenge.  That's one of the perks from being on a design team.  I also sprayed a piece of white lace with some green glimmer mist.

I really like the way this one came out.

You can also find her Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/people/PeggyLovesVintage

Winner will receive an assortment of dies

Simon Says

Wednesday, 1 September 2010

Simon says ,,,,,, Pearls and Lace :-)
This week we would like to see

PEARLS AND LACE on your creations :-)

If you don't have pearl gems you can use pearly buttons, pearl glimmer mist, liquid pearls, perfect pearls,,, pearlescent card ,,, lots of possibilities and the lace can be paper lace, lacey design paper, lacey border punch ,,, not necessarily fabric lace.
For my "pearls" I used Polymark paint.  The card paper is Crate Paper and the middle section of paper is from K & Co.

Cheerful Wishes Card

I made this card for my step-dads mom who's in a nursing home and is sick.  She will be 90 in the beginning of April!!  I hope she enjoys it...The paper is from Crate Paper and both the outside and inside words were embossed with Ranger's "Queen Gold" embossing powder.

SS Challenge

These are weeks two & three Simply Scrapping Challenges.  Both were following a l/o design.  The week three l/o was also featured on the SS website.  The pics are of my nieces 4th birthday party in Feb.  Boy will she rake it in when she gets older and gets b-day presents and Valentines Day presents from her bf or hubby at the same time.

Tri-fold card

This card could could be used for anything, but I chose Valentines.  I used the tri-fold method.  It's hard to tell, but the branch and leaves on the right bottom tuck under the bottom flower to keep it closed.  The second picture shows where the flower is placed so the branch can tuck under it.
The paper, flowers, & leaves are from Crate Paper (sprinkled w/skickles) and the stamps are ANM & Danelle Johnson.

Family pictures from my husbands side--mini album

My husband had gotton some very old pictures from his dad and they were just sitting in a box.  I love doing mini books, so I had to make one for these pictures.  Although no one knows the exact dates, the guess is to be approximately around the 1930's or so.  My favorite style is the aged/antique look.  The names are written from my husbands cousins
point of view.    This is the cover.  These pictures were pretty big, so the size of the book ended up being 8"x8".

Leaves For You

This one I did for my sister.  I did a book for her a couple of months ago, and every once in a while, she sends me more pics to add to it.  The papers are from Scribble Scrabble & Flair Design with flowers from Prima.  The lettering is from Crate Paper w/distress stickles over them (although, it's hard to tell).

Simply The Best card

This card was made from sketches that are over at SS.  There are tons of sketches for both cards and lay outs.  The paper, card stock and ribbon is from my endless collection of scraps without names on them.  The flowers are from Prima and rub ons are from Crate Paper's "Blue Hill collection.  It's tough to see on the picture, but i used stickles to highlight the rub ons.
