Alaskan Cruise Mini Book

This is a small book of pictures from our Alaskan Cruise from 28 May-3 June.  We started in Seattle, WA, spent that day and the next at sea and on Monday, May 30th stopped in Juneau, AK.  There we went on a whale watching tour.  It was amazing!!  We saw whales breaching, a sea lion colony and eagles.

All pf the papers and alot of the embellishments are from Toucan Scraps "Buttercups and Daisies Printable Jotter" set.

This set includes lots of papers and tags.  You can find this set on Stitchy Bear Stamps here.

Our next stop was in Sitka, AK.  We got there on June 1st.   .

We found the Totum Pole Center. Every pole was at least 20 0r 25 feet high. Every carve had a different meaning

We also wandered around the Raptor Center where they rescued and rehabilitated birds.

The next stop was Ketchikan, AK.  Our venture out for the day was going on the Bearing Sea Crab Tour.

We went out into the sea and caught some traps that were set the day before. They caught rock crabs, octopus, fish, and king crab. One of the Captain's of the boat was named Derrick. During the 2010 Opelio season of Deadliest Catch, he was the captain of the Cornelia Marie.

Final stop was Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  These people were the welcoming committee as we pulled into port.  This was on June 3rd.
