CDAC Embellishment Challenge #18

This is my card for this challenge.  You can find more information about the CDAC challenge's here.
Daisy Doodles is sponsoring this challenge.  Check it out to get this cute little freebie digi until  March 3rd.  The embellie challenge is to use less than three embellishments.  Not too hard for me, since I usually don't use alot of them anyways.

Recipe:  paper: MME "Life Stories" and K Co. "Amy Butler", paint-Polymark (for the tail), & embellishment-Cosmo Cricut.  i used the "Easter 2010" for the "happy easter" cutout.

Pricilla's Styles Challenge-MMSC76

This weeks challenge is a sketch at Pricilla's
Styles.You will probably be seeing me use this sketch more.  I really like it alot and like the way this card came out.  

The backgound paper is from MME called "Love Me Do".  It's actually a Valentine's paper pack, but I'm very limited when it comes to my choices of yellow paper.  I was surprised on how little I actually had.  The polka dot paper is from my stash along with the toile ribbon. While the Magnolia stamp was colored with Copics, the flowers were colored with pencils.  Brads and pearls are from Prima.  The flower stamp is from PSX (I think-that's all it said on the stamp) and the sentiment stamp is from Just Rite's "Custom Design Cardmaking Kit".  Again as it is hard to tell by the pic, I added stickles to the flowers, bee, and sentiment.  I hate that it doesn't show up for a challenge that is suppose to be all about sparkle.  Hope you enjoy it...

See this is why I don't like using the same card for more than one challenge!!!  This is the card that was SUPPOSED to be used for this challenge.  It does not take much to confuse me anymore (obviously).  The paper is from MME and the ribbon & flowers are from the never ending stash.

I swear I'm getting wonkier by the day.  The challenge is named "Pretty in PINK", correct?  Then why on earth would I make the whole card in BLUE???  grrrr....

Just Magnolia Challange

This week our challenge is a theme - VINTAGE, so lots of scope to get creative and olde worlde.
Papers are from MME and the stamps are from Just Rite that I won from Stamping Scrapping's first challenge.  It's this whole interlocking system.  You can change the words or borders.  It's pretty cool.  Anyways...

This week DT girlie Martine has designed a gorgeous sketch for us to follow, a nice easy one ,,,, perfect !! :-)

Keeping with the Christmas theme that has been going around this month, that's what I decided to do for this challenge.  I used Bildmalarna's "Tessa-Snowman & Two Little Whispers" stamp with paper from MME.  For that litttle extra, I added stickles and Polymark paint.

Just Magnolia Challange

 This is my first Just Magnolia challenge and it was a sketch challenge.  It's pretty basic, but I love this little girl.  They have over 125 entries so there is some pretty amazing artists out there!!  I used colored pencils (still no good markers) and MME paper.

Simon Says Challenge

Domi's Wedding Card Challenge :-)

This challenge was to make a card for Domi & Uli who are getting married soon.  There were no limits for this challenge so here's what I came up with. the card is a Tri-fold card.  The paper is "Elegance" from MME.  I stamped the "Congrats" in "Royal Silk" by Colorbox.  The stamp is from Hero Arts.  I added the butterfly and some misc. bead strings, which I bought at Michales pretty cheap, along with the pull-out ribbon on the inside.  The flowers are "Fabric Fancies" from Prima.

Scrap That sketch challenge

Here's this weeks layout challenge for  Scrap That.  I used MME's "Fall In Love" paper, Tim Holtz's "Vintage Photo" for both the embossing ink and powder, and MSE's rub-ons.

SS card challenge

For theis one we had to match colors.  I really like the way this one came out.  The papers are from MME.  The small flowers I made using a med. petel punch w/stickles for the center.  The phrase was stamped w/Tim Holtzs' distress powder in Peeled Paint and the edges were done in the same color of ink.  Let me know what you think..

Just A Note card

I made this card, but originally did not like the way it turned out, so I changed it!!  The only part that I did not like was the center, so I added the stamp on paper by MME "Fall In Love" & Cosmo Cricut, flowers were punched using Punch Bunch's "med. petals"  & "sm. stamen" with stickles "Fire Brick Red" in the middle.  The stamp is from Stamp Francisco and colored with Rose Art pencils.

Inspire Card

This card was made with all MME "Fall In Love" paper.The word came from a christmas set from Colorbox, string is from Generations.  The metal art was dyed woth Holtz's Alcohol Inks in "Raspberry" & "Clover" and the "woven" looking paper was just something that was decorative that was stickled with "Gold", "Copper", and Diamond".....LOVE THOSE STICKLES!!

SS Simply "Fall" Challenge-Kitchen Creations

This was a JFF (just for fun) challenge over at Simply Scrapping where we recycled and reused an item to use in the kitchen.  Since Judy loves Bo Bunny, we had to use one of two color pallets from either their Fall Colors or Tis The Season.  You pick four colors and add the nine listed items.  This is what I came up with. The papers of from MME "Fall In Love" collection.  Go check it out.  There are some very creative ladies over there!! 

Over The Rainbow

 I was lucky enough to catch this during a brief shower (which seems to be very rare in TX these past couple of summmers).  The borders are cut using Martha Stewarts "Doily Lace" punch, letters are "puffy letters" from American Traditions Designs and the paper is MME's "Fall In Love" book of glitter paper.
