Challenge #11 "For the one I love"

This time we have the theme ;

"For the one I Love"
And
We want to see the word "LOVE" or "SPECIAL" & / or some hearts somewhere on your creation.

I made an Easel card for this challenge.  The paper is from both Paper Boutique's "Country Wish List" and Carol Wilson's "Snow Days".  Instead of doing a regular punched border to keep the card open, I added a line of "Diamond" stickles.  I was going to do the the whole snow part in stickles, but decided to leave it alone so that it can be written on.  I'm also entering this card into the following challenge:
Just Magnolia Challenge-"A Christmas Card"
Stamping Scrapping Challenge-"Winter Wonderland"

Pricilla's Styles Challenge-MMSC76

This weeks challenge is a sketch at Pricilla's
Styles. You will probably be seeing me use this sketch more.  I really like it alot and like the way this card came out.

The backgound paper is from MME called "Love Me Do".  It's actually a Valentine's paper pack, but I'm very limited when it comes to my choices of yellow paper.  I was surprised on how little I actually had.  The polka dot paper is from my stash along with the toile ribbon. While the Magnolia stamp was colored with Copics, the flowers were colored with pencils.  Brads and pearls are from Prima.  The flower stamp is from PSX (I think-that's all it said on the stamp) and the sentiment stamp is from Just Rite's "Custom Design Cardmaking Kit".  Again as it is hard to tell by the pic, I added stickles to the flowers, bee, and sentiment.  I hate that it doesn't show up for a challenge that is suppose to be all about sparkle.  Hope you enjoy it...

I made this card into fit the following challenges:
FTTC-Glitter
Just Magnolia-Anything Goes
Stamping Scrapping Challenge-Yellow & Black (I used the Magnolia stamp that they sell at SS).

Week #78 Think Pink

We are promoting Breast Cancer Awareness month, I’m sure a lot of you know our amazing teamie Jacque is celebrating beating the disease and we wanted to show our support and love for a very special lady, and also for all the very special ladies that have fought/are fighting the disease. So our theme for this week is “THINK PINK”. Nice and simple, use some pink on your creation and you could be the winner of the fabulous prize and also will be showing your support!!
I used papers from K & Co's. Paper Boxes.  I cut out parts of the boxes to put together this card.  If anyone knows if I can get papers like this with out using the boxes.  I love these papers.  Flowers are from Prima, along with the rhinestones.  The big fabric brad is from 7 Gypsies "Savannah" line.

Week 76 – 2 x 2

This week our challenge is 2 x 2. So we want to see things in pairs – 2 papers, 2 ribbons, 2 charms, 2 embellishments etc.
I used 2 different papers, 2 images, 2 stickles-"Frosted Lace" on the snow and "Diamond" for the snowflakes (which if anyone knows how to make it show up in a pic, would be helpful), and 2 pearls.

Papertake Challenge #49

 Tuesday, 28 September 2010     A Sketch

I had a bit of trouble with this sketch, for some reason.  I think it was getting all the little side borders in correct proportion.
Anyways, I used papers from MME.  I have two different sets, and use them all the time.  I love all the glittery parts and colors.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:
Just Magnolia challenge #75-Anything Goes.

Just Magnolia #74

Our challenge this week is provided by the uber talented Dawny P. You can flip and/or rotate the sketch, as long as we can still see the elements of the sketch.

I'm trying to make it fall here, but the 95 degree days just won't seem to go away, no matter how hard I try!!

I changed my sketch around a little bit for this challenge.   I used the bench as the part that goes across behind the image (makes sense?), and added stickles to the fall flowers that she is holding, although they never show up in my pics :(   The expresssion says "Adore", but again, I'm not sure if it shows up.

Week 67 – Special Monthly Challenge
Our challenge this month is ACETATE – you need to incorporate it into your project in any way you like, so it could be an acetate card like some of our more adventurous DT members have done, it could be an acetate pocket, a shaker card, an altered acetate container or even simply used as an embellishment (like I did lol).
The Prima flowers were Glimmer Misted in "Garden Fairy".  The acetate part is a Daisy d's Elelments.

Our sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe' and the fabulous prize this week is two sets of your choice from their amazing selection of files.

This week our challenge is a theme - VINTAGE, so lots of scope to get creative and olde worlde.
Papers are from MME and the stamps are from Just Rite that I won from Stamping Scrapping's first challenge.  It's this whole interlocking system.  You can change the words or borders.  It's pretty cool.  Anyways...
