Incy Wincy Sept 26th #113 Fancy Folds

This week we want you to go fancy!!  Fancy Folds, that is!!  I made a swing card this time.  You can get all the instructions for my card on Splitcoast Stampers.  I just started making this type of card and really like it.  I think it's only the second one I've ever made, so not too bad.  Our wonderful sponsor this week is Karen's Doodles and I chose the "Fall Wheel" digi, cutting it out with the "Small Labels" die.  Trying to get that cool fall air down here in the TX heat.  It's still in the 90's down here, so I'll try anything!!  ha ha...

The papers are from the stash (yes!! again)...The words came from "Flair", pearls are Prima, brads are Creative Charms, and the metal flowers and butterfly are stash.

Winner gets your choice of 3 digi's

Meljen's Disigns Challenge #26
"Autumn Colors" Challenge

Thanx for the freebie.  This little guy is so cute.  I decided that I can only make so many cards with the fall theme, so I went with the colors I was suppose to, but went a different route with the image.

I'm also using this card for the following challenges:
Incy Wincy #61 (Anything Goes)
FFTC #86 (Fall Colors)

Embellishment Challenge

THIS CHALLENGE IS BEING HOSTED BY: INKTEGRITY

DURATION: September 23, 2010-October 6, 2010

"Breaking the Plane"

Create a card with an image that breaks the plane of its frame. It gives an image so much more dimension by letting a part of the image exceed the frame area, as my wagon wheel does in my sample card.

There are a few fun ways to do this: either by drawing simple lines lightly with a pencil and then cutting around it either by hand or with a simple paper cutter, or using a die cut or nestie to do the job.

I used scraps of paper and cut out leaves as a border down the side of the image.  You can find this challenge here.

Just Magnolia #74

Our challenge this week is provided by the uber talented Dawny P. You can flip and/or rotate the sketch, as long as we can still see the elements of the sketch.

I'm trying to make it fall here, but the 95 degree days just won't seem to go away, no matter how hard I try!!

I changed my sketch around a little bit for this challenge.   I used the bench as the part that goes across behind the image (makes sense?), and added stickles to the fall flowers that she is holding, although they never show up in my pics :(   The expresssion says "Adore", but again, I'm not sure if it shows up.
