Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #80 (MMSC80)
As usual with MMSC there are two different sketch's to pick from. A fancy one and a plain one. I went with the fancy one this week. They are more challenging.

I got to use my new papers from Graphic 45's "Christmas Past". I added "yellow" stickles to the ribbon on the tree and "peeled paint" distress stickles to the tree.  Pearls were also added to the ribbons.

I made this card to also fit the following challenges:
FTTC-Christmas Card
Simon Says-Sparkle
                                          Bildmalarna-Use Red

Pricilla's Styles Challenge-MMSC76

This weeks challenge is a sketch at Pricilla's
Styles. You will probably be seeing me use this sketch more.  I really like it alot and like the way this card came out.

The backgound paper is from MME called "Love Me Do".  It's actually a Valentine's paper pack, but I'm very limited when it comes to my choices of yellow paper.  I was surprised on how little I actually had.  The polka dot paper is from my stash along with the toile ribbon. While the Magnolia stamp was colored with Copics, the flowers were colored with pencils.  Brads and pearls are from Prima.  The flower stamp is from PSX (I think-that's all it said on the stamp) and the sentiment stamp is from Just Rite's "Custom Design Cardmaking Kit".  Again as it is hard to tell by the pic, I added stickles to the flowers, bee, and sentiment.  I hate that it doesn't show up for a challenge that is suppose to be all about sparkle.  Hope you enjoy it...

I made this card into fit the following challenges:
FTTC-Glitter
Just Magnolia-Anything Goes
Stamping Scrapping Challenge-Yellow & Black (I used the Magnolia stamp that they sell at SS).

Kenny K #17

Sunday, October 31, 2010                                Kenny K's Challenge # 17

This weeks challenge is an "Anything Goes"
challenge.
This is the first time I've done a Kenny K challenge. I found out about it through my DT position at Incy Wincy.  Kenny is sponsoring us in a couple of weeks.

Anyways, on to my card. I used the free digi called "Hollar Back Girl".  I think she rocks.  The paper is scraps, rub-ons are from MME, and the pearls are "Say It In Pearls" from Prima.

I used a sketch from the "Pricillas Styles" challenge, so this card will be used for that challenge also.

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #76 (MMSC76)

This weeks sketch...it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Remember to click on the sneak peek button on the side bar for the following weeks sketch each Friday.

"YOUR CHOICE"

This is my first MMS challenge.  It's one that's a little different than I normally do.  When I use rhinestones, it's only a couple and there are quite a few on this card.  I also don't use a pink/brown color combo and am very stingy with the flowers.  They are usually saved for l/o's.  Even though "Belle Artes" flowers from Prima are my favorite type, they are not cheap.  The digi is from Nana Vic's. This was definitely an outside-of-the-box challenge for me.  The pink/brown color combo is from the Incy Wincy color combo challenge.  This will be my last Incy Wincy challenge before I become a a part of the DT in Nov.  I'm really excited to join the team.
