CDAC Progressive Challenge #1
August

How does the CDAC Progressive Challenges work?

The CDAC Progressive Challenge is a proactive freebie challenge. What that means is as long as you are proactive by making and submitting cards to this challenge you will continue to get freebies offered in a large variety of styles. These images are created by the artists that have groups here on CDAC and by those that participate in the CDAC drawing Challenges. This is a fun way to get and use fabulous images that will be offered during these challenges. You will have a full two week to enter the challenge, so not only will you get these images free, but if you participate in each of the challenges during that series you will go into the drawing for the Grand Prize. EVERYONE that plays is a winner, because EVERYONE that plays earns the next challenges images for free. Repeat the process again, and you will receive the next freebies emailed to you again and so on and so on..

To join just click on the link CDAC Progressive Challenge and sign up.

I made two cards today.  The first one is using the "Victorian Fan" digi from  "priscilla styles" Store and the second one is "Olly in the Tub" from Anne's Digital Art  .  On both cards I used up some of the never endless supply of scrap paper.

The top card was made a little different.  I distressed it every way possible.  I ripped, inked and burnt it.  The letter were punched from punches from "Cutting Edge".  I used Tim Holtz's distress ink in "Vintage Photo" and "Antique Linen" on everything!! ha ha...The flowers are from Prima, lace is scraps, and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.  The metal leaves were silver that I tried to distress.  I found a mix online that said to mix vinager and bleach.  It's nasty but worked ok.

The embossing on the bottom card I did from one of my old metal embossing plates.  I went over it with distress ink in "fired brick".  I added some flowers from Prima and pearls.

Crazy Challenge #79-embossing
KB Challenges #24-anything goes using a digi

I love your image. It took me back 40+ years to my Gran's house and the water butt outside her kitchen window, which she used to used to wash our hair with.

Thanks for joining in with the fun at Dream Valley.
