Incy Wincy 100th Challenge and Blog Hop-June 27th

27 June 11
100th Challenge & Blog Hop
Summertimes Blues

For this challenge we want you to use mainly blues and see the summertime theme.  We have a HUGE blog hop with lots and lots of sponsors, so you don't want to miss one step.  Make sure you keep your eyes open along the way.  You never know what you might find.  If you like the digi that I used, scroll down to find out how you can get it for free!!!

My newest, most favorite thing is to sponge paint with the distress inks for the sky's, water and grounds of my digi's.  I totally love the effect that it gives, rather than trying to color it (which I can't seem to do very well).  I use a mix of blues for sky's and water and greens and browns for the ground.  Sometimes I'll add some oranges, also.
Ignacio, the amazing designer of Nicecrane Designs, is offering the digi that I used in my card to all who participate in this blog hop for free. Just click on the link Vintage Summer Freebie for your freebie.  When you stop by and get your freebie, make sure you thank Ignacio.

Here's the list of the blog hop.  Don't forget anyone.  You don't know what you might miss.  You should have arrived here from Nikki F's blog......if not, please start at the beginning so you don't miss one of the DT blogs!!!! When you get to the end, don't forget to link up with INLINKZ and leave a comment!!!
***Remember to be eligible to win a prize, you must leave a comment on every DT's blog-thanx.***

Loved the way you sponged the background. I'll have to try that since I don't like to color everything.

What a gorgeous card. Must try that method for backgrounds. At the moment I use watercolour pencils and then add water which gives a soft cloudy effect. Thanks for the tip.
